On the road again

Hello Everyone!

You may have seen the announcement banner at on the home page about shipping dates for orders in November. I will be traveling for my day job the week of November 6th, and joining my family for the annual Elk Hunt the following week. Unfortunately this means, I will not be able to ship right away, due to being away from my inventory and postal facilities. When I am home, I typically can ship the next day after reciept of your order and payment.

Curly Top Jewelry Design is just me, Sarah. My business is run out of a spare room in my home. I am the production, photography, marketing, accounting, inventory and shipping departments! Since I’ve just started this venture, I do still need to work for someone else to cover my living expenses. So unfortunately I will need to make a notice that I will be delayed in shipping orders on occasion, due to the travel demands of my day job. This challenge is why I have not applied for Tik Tok Shop (they require shipping in 3 days) and why I have built shipping into my product pricing structure. I don’t want to disappoint you by not being able to fullfill an overnight, or two day delivery on an order, when you may have paid extra for the expected service.

I am currently using USPS priority mail for all shippments. Once things start moving and I have a bit more money coming in, I plan to upgrade my shipping options to include Fex Ex and UPS.

I am truly hoping that this venture will become my full time gig. I also plan to hire some part time help with inventory and shipping when I can afford to do so. Until then, I am grateful for your patience and understanding. - Sarah
