Best laid Plans..

Whew! The last five months have been a whirl wind! My original intent was to have this site up and running by the end of June 2023. Her we are in the middle of October and I’m still working on getting things going! Since June, we finalized the purchase of a new home, moved, were put under level 1 evacuation orders for the Smith River Fire Complex, got a new dog, and I’ve been travelling frequently for my day job. Things are finally settling down into a routine now that we are out of fire season and mostly unpacked. (Do you ever truly finish unpacking from moving?) The slow down has allowed me to pick back up on this business.

In the last 2 weeks I’ve filed for my business license and tax id numbers. I’ve also opened a bank account so that I could connect my payment platform from here to there. The great news is that has been done and I’m diligently working on uploading inventory to the site. Part of that process involves photographing the jewelry its self and editing the photos. With my current stock, it is quite a process. There are some pieces that I’ve featured the making of on social media that I want to make sure are available when the site goes fully live! But we are in good shape and I will be able to open the website for purchase by November 1 for your holiday shopping needs!
